Margaret S. Fox is a celebrated chef, restaurateur, and author who transformed Mendocino’s Café Beaujolais into a nationally recognized culinary destination. She owned and operated the restaurant for 23 years, during which time it became renowned for its innovative breakfast and brunch offerings. Fox authored two acclaimed cookbooks, Café Beaujolais and Morning Food, sharing her distinctive approach to seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine. After selling the café in 2000, she continued to influence the local food scene as the culinary director of Harvest Market in Fort Bragg, California. Fox resides in Mendocino, where she remains an active figure in the community's food and hospitality landscape.
