About the Book

Roo the rooster loves his home on the farm, so he is not sure what to expect when his family takes a trip around the world. From Mexico City to Tokyo, Roo meets new friends, explores new places, and discovers that everyone has a special way of saying hello.

Rooster Says Hello! introduces children to animal sounds around the world through a bright, funny, globally minded adventure. With lush illustrations by Violaine Costa, Roo’s animal world mirrors our own—full of color, landmarks, language, friendship, and discovery.
